Opportunity with Habitat
Calling all Ladies & Gents….NWBW is May 5-12 - in just under 3 weeks, we will celebrate National Women Build Week (NWBW) with Habitat for Humanity!
This year’s NWBW project is a unique opportunity to participate in a recycle build. Recycle for Habitat means we will take one of our existing homes and renovate it for a new family.
Our team will be part of this transformative build and have a chance to demo siding, lay flooring, restore fencing, paint and/or assemble cabinetry along with other cool tasks!
Volunteers will receive an official 2018 National Women Build Week t-shirt and the first 50 will receive the official 2018 NWBW nail apron! (15 have already signed up!)
Because this is a recycle home, we will have limited space daily – we want to ensure each volunteer is busy and has the expected experience.
Here are the details (each day check in at 7:45 & work from 8-1pm)
Saturday, May 5 – 15 volunteers spots
Tuesday, May 8 – 15 volunteers spots
Wednesday, May 9 – 15 volunteers spots
Thursday, May 10 – full
Friday, May 11 – 15 volunteers spots
Saturday, May 12 – 15 volunteers spots
Our team will choose only 1 of the above dates to volunteer. We need your responses to determine which date will be chosen.
